Pain of things not going according to plan

 It felt like, everywhere I looked, people were progressing faster than me. Hitting milestones earlier, climbing the ranks with more ease, figuring things out faster, leaving me in the dust wondering, “How did I fall so far behind?”

This is how everyone feels like if things don't go according to plan.

    That's how i felt 4years back you know I had to stay behind and raise kids while my friends and school mates are out there hustling and flourish i felt like a failed but after all its life everything has its own time its all about "the right timing"

  To avoid getting hurt People often hide emotions to protect their  relationships . When someone you care about does something upsetting, you might choose to hide your annoyance. Yes, their actions bothered you. But if they react negatively when you tell them how you feel, you could end up triggering an even more painful conflict. So, instead, you choose to  avoid conflict  entirely. This desire to avoid pain often stems from an underlying  lack of trust in yourself  and others. If people have  manipulated your emotions  in the past, you might fear trusting someone new with your feelings. You might also lack faith in your own ability to handle conflict in a positive and productive way.
